Any resemblances from the two images?

What similarities do they have?

Well, actually, they jolly-well share the same name. And they share it with me also.

Haha, indeed Rhea has several meaning. One of them is the very reason why I named this blog-address the way I did.

Despite several meanings it has, my fave is the Magna Mater (the Great Mother) which refers to The Mother of Zeus. It's not a narcissism, OK? Because not all of them are positive hahaha especially the 'polygamous' part of the flightless bird Rhea (Ostrich family, or Emu).

Even as a mother (either mother of Zeus or as Rhea Sylvia) she is not very much somebody that you may regard as a role model.

Most of the times, people spell my name wrongly. And incorrect pronounciation as well. Some shorten it to 'Ria'. That's why in Singapore I often ended up with my middle name instead. In fact, it's 'by default' for them after seeing my full name.

I wanted to get the 'emu' when I was in Australia but to no avail. But still, somebody brought it from Australia for me!! Really really glad when I got it *finally*.

So what does your name mean?

I think from the Latin dictionary name, Felicia means happy. But I'm not a daily happy person, if you know what I mean. Hehehe... Other than that, my (almarhumah) English teacher said that Felicia meant innocent. Well, doesn't matter, as long as people know me...
