rainy day and books...

I'm bored.
Bored in trying to sleep.

I was actually quite (well, very) tired. Wanted to sleep at 10 (yea I think I've aged already =P). Too much standing and walking today. But when I was trying to sleep, all I got was headache instead. I still have sleeping difficulties, it seems like the head keeps on spinning and thinking (hey brain, it's a friday night!). I don't know why but I can't get rid from this problem. Even sleep inducer doesn't work. Sometimes I wonder whether it's just because the Feng Shui is not right hahahaha =D. I guess my drowsiness always comes at wrong time. After lunch, in OFFICE for my goodness sake. That's why I take two cuppa almost everyday (caffeinated indeed).

Do you notice that it rains every Good Friday? I do. That's why I would never let the good sun-shining weather in the morning fool me.

And it was. The morning was sun-filled. But true enough, at around 2 pm it was raining cats and dogs. We were drenched. Waist and below were soaking wet though we had one umbrella each. And it was cold...

This morning I went to Borders, browsing many books about many topics. Continuing from where I left off yesterday. Really really myriads of topics.. from celebrity gossip (btw, when did Britney Spears give birth? I think I am oh-so-yesterday in this department) to photography. From Jill Mansell's novels to travelling book. And some other magazines. Some about webdesigning. Children's art and craft. Even cook book!! Haha and my sister came and said: "It's so very NOT you!"

Bottom line, I'm most happy when I am surrounded with good books. Like those in Borders. Though I didn't buy anything recently. My collection of books have piled up. I haven't even opened some of it.

I love books so much. I guess it's among the biggest temptation in me. I can even resist chocolate, eventhough it's from Royce, or Belgian, or anything nice. I can resist ice cream, eventhough it's from Gelare or Haagen Dazs or Baskin and Robbins.

But for books, normally I ended up buying them. I fell in love with English language once (doesn't mean my English is good) so I even have a rhyming dictionary!! Well, never really opened it. Hmm what else? Some about drawing and painting, have one of graphic design, some novels, even poetry (???): Maya Angelou, Kahlil Gibran. A complete collection of Harry Potter (five of which are birthday presents hahaha). Hmm what else? Photoshop. Euclid's Window, this is one among my favourites. I believe I'll put you off by telling you the subjects (history of geometry and space) but believe me it's not as scary as it sounds. The writer (Leonard Mlodinow) has managed to explain the complicated theory in a very simple way, with daily life examples even. If you can't understand some part, just skip it like what I do hehe. A complete history from Euclid to Edward Witten. More than two millenia!

Man, even typing this much and chatting in MSN (after so long) can't bring my sleepiness back to me. Tomorrow I already have some plans since morning. Hmmppphh wish I can sleep soon...
