"Ku kan menaaaaaaaaarriii...
Ku kan menaaaaaaaaarriiii...
Ku kan menari s'perti Daud menariiiii......"
"I wanna daaaaaannnceeee...
I wanna daaaaaaaannceeeee....
I wanna dance, just like David's danciiinnnggg....."
"Je veux bien danceeeeeerrr...
Je veux bien daaanceeeerrr...
Je veux bien dancer, comme la dance de David...."
"Wo yau..... " (I don't think my pinyin will be correct so I rather stop here)
Haiiiizzzz...
Welcome me back to cyber woooorllldddd!!!!!!
Feel like dancing (not me, worry not - I was talking about my fingers).
I've been fettered with something 'til yesterday. "Something" that had really deprived me from my leisure time. Reading and working and studying and reading and working and studying for six consecutive weeks. Even my lovely laptop was only used for that: reading, working and studying cycle. For those who happened to send any e-mails to my yahoo account, sorry lah haaaiiii.... haven't opened it for more than 1 month...
And now, the sun looks brighter, even the heavy rain (which has dropped by in Singapore far too often) sounds more cheerful (hyperbole? hehehehe).
More importantly, I can let my fingers dancing and typing on my beloved laptop as they like and wish....
I can again relish my fave foods without many encumberances in mind...
Can saunter along East Coast Park with happy heart...
Can flip as many books as I like at Borders 'til late without guilt...
Can scan through all racks and shelves in Art Friends friskily...
Can spend time with my other half without timing (yeah, it was that bad)
Can enjoyably finish my painting homeworks...
Can listen Delta Goodrem's songs againn...
Picikalipid... picikalipid...
Cihuyyyy
Terorerorejing Terojing Terojing
Cublak cublak suweng....
Lalallalalaa *lompat kiri*... Lalalalalala *lompat kanan*
My agenda for tomorrow:
1. Morning walk at East Coast Park (and Coffee Bean's breakfast!!)
2. Doing my oil painting homework
3. Hi-Tea meal ('coz it's the timing for neither lunch nor dinner)
4. Sunset Mass at St. Peter and Paul church
5. Watching "Elaine Paige" concert at Kallang Stadium
What else can make my sleep sound tonight?
Studying? What's that?
Permisiiiii.....
PS: the song that I wrote on top is a catholic song that's used to be used in retreat in Bahasa Indonesia. Until now can't really get why should it be "David's dancing"? Why not Inul? I mean, where's in the bible that says David's dancing?

To Excel
In this capricious nature of life (cantankerous at times and whimsical at others), who could really know what does life have in stores for him/her?
How can we know that it is "THE JOB" for us?
"THE PATH"?
"THE LIFE"?
"THE PURPOSE"?
"THE GOAL"?
"THE CALLING"?
and may be some even ask... "THE ONE"?
Is our ambition reasonable?
Is our dream viable?
Is the step we are taking leading us to something better, or worse?
Or are they just fanciful pensive?
But while we are questioning,
we might as well DO SOMETHING.
As idling and waiting can only lead to stagnation.
We can only get the answer at the end of the tunnel, anyway. So why not we just take a step forward?
And while we are doing something,
EVEN if it is eventually wrong,
we might as well EXCEL.
Rhea - The Mother of Zeus
To Fight and not to Yield
Never, never, never, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, not even once, GIVE UP.
... don't even slack.

Sudden Longing for an Early Retirement
Dear financial advisers out there, don’t get ecstatic first. The impetus that propelled me to the sudden longing is not to have “more precious” family time (as most of their advertisements promise so), nor to circumnavigate the world in dunno-how-many days, nor to sashay along Orchard Road swinging Prada bag and tottering in a pair of Ferragamo, not bogus, please. Come to think of it, actually those are quite tantalizing.
But no, not for the aforementioned reasons. It is actually for a reason so venial you may be drop-laughing by now.
It all started when I search for an Oil Painting class in Singapore upon the completion of my one-year Western Painting course in NAFA, which is next month (November 2005). The urge to continue is prevailing. Alas, most of the classes offered are conducted in not-so-favorable timings. It is difficult to get one on Saturday/Sunday morning, a friendly course-timing for a working class group member like me.
Seems like the courses are aimed for tai tais, housewives and retirees (like most of my present coursemates). Ha! So that’s the point. I seemingly have to retire first in order to be able to join the class. Haiz….
Weekdays’ morning – out.
Weekdays’ evening – partially out, as it’s a probable time yet not so amicable as painting requires you to come in great vitality and kicking excitement. After-work mood is not so recommended unless you are among those murky artists (or gothic perhaps?). Either way, I am not.
Haiiizzzzz….
So how?
Any information is welcome. Oil painting course in Singapore, a well-reputed teacher, conducted on Saturday or Sunday. Errm… and preferably with a working class budget (S$ 40 – S$ 60 per lesson? Depends on the teacher though…).
Merci!!
