I have this friend, whom I don't meet so often but we still maintain good contacts like old time...
So. It has been MONTHS since we planned to meet. Kept on postponing it, both are busy with studies. Until few days ago, few minutes past midnight she called me and said "Rhea, my birthday just ended few minutes ago..."
OMG... there are 24 hours in a day but not for a single minute that I remembered her birthday!! So I told her that this weekend we'll definitely meet (kalo orang Singapore bilang "die die must meet").
So we did today. Over lunch at 3.30 pm!! Man, we were starving by then.. It was rather impromptu actually, at around 1 pm I called her to fix a time and both of us decided that we changed and went right there and then. From West Coast and Tampines, we met in Orchard.
She gave me this handphone accessories.. an Eiffel tower miniature *eh whose birthday was it? hehehehe*. She's just back from Europe (UK and France) as PART OF her study.
*grrrbbll...* how unfair. When I did my undergrad, our 'best' tours were to this lab and that lab. And here she is, a Fine Art student, did ONE FULL MONTH tour to UK and France. To study about arts, visit art museums, interact with other artists....

Back to the Eiffel.. as I like my handphone to be accessories-free always but want to put the Eiffle on something (anything), I decided to attach it to my thumb drive. So now it sparkles!!
