how beautiful...

I kept on having this song hummed (by seraphims?) in my head.

I don't know, perhaps because I am always attracted to beauty (specifically "beauty" to my liking hehehehe who aren't anyway?), or perhaps I'm getting more and more in love with my life recently, or simply because Easter is coming (read on the lyrics and you would understand and perhaps share the same feeling with me).

My life does still have ups and downs. I still get my fair portion of frustration and confusion. But on the other side of the coin, I also get excitement, fulfilment and inspiration (though sometimes it comes with frustration as I can't really crystallize it). So. Life is Beautiful. La Vita e Bella. La Vie est Belle.

And this song is really beautiful. Unfortunately, the musically-challenged me don't really know how to sing it. I heard it when I joined the choir for 2004's Eucharistic Congress at Kallang Theatre. It was sung by one of Singapore Idol's finalist, C. Lee (and he sung better in the congress than in the contest).

Enjoy!

HOW BEAUTIFUL – Twila Paris

How Beautiful the hands that served

The Wine and the Bread and the sons of the earth
How beautiful the feet that walked
The long dusty road and the hill to the cross
How Beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

How Beautiful the heart that bled
That took all my sins and bore it instead
How beautiful the tender eyes
That choose to forgive and never despise
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

And as He lay down His life
We offer this sacrifice
That we will live just as He died
Willing to pay the price
Willing to pay the price

How Beautiful the radiant bride
Who waits for her Groom with His light in her eyes
How Beautiful when humble hearts give
The fruit of pure love so that others may live
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

How beautiful the feet that bring
The sound of good news and the love of the King
How Beautiful the hands that serve
The wine and the bread and the sons of the Earth
How Beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

PS: Bleh, I don't like this blog template. My Trebuchet font always turns to Verdana when published. And I am still HTML-ly retarded. So I guess I'll just live with it for the time being.

Iteeeeee.....

there's no misserable life in this world actually.

it's just some people are too lazy to see from different perspective.

i must admit I myself am also often trapped in a black hole called negativity.

I guess that's why religion is created =P
