Yeah. Finally. Four days off.
The Linear Algebra professor has cancelled today's 3-hour lecture. Yeah baby yeah. You should see how we BEGGED him to postpone the assignment submission 'til next Monday. The questions were sent to us on Tuesday and he expected us to hand it in on this Friday? With our damn MPI report piling? We literally BEGGED. Wobbly voice. Pitiful face. And it was postponed to Monday. Phew.
The four days off, however, will consist of:
wrapping up my MPI's Lab 4 report (and still a bit unsure about the Gustafson's law, can somebody explain? heheh...)
finish Linear Algebra assignment and do some reading
finish question 1 of MPI's Lab 5 and submit the code tomorrow
(must) do some reading for an exam next week
start getting my hands and brain dirty on question 2 of MPI's lab 5 -- even the professor said it's exhaustive -- we don't understand a single thing (it's something related to PDE - Jacobi - Fluid-dunnowhat -- optimization -- iteration... or something like that)
hmm come to think of it, I DON'T think all can be done (or touched) within this weekend.
But, still. Four days off. Better than nothing. Some of us with other halves could finally meet him/her. Good, eh?
