“Oh yeah,” my friend said. “Their names are not mentioned.”
“Huh?” Honestly, I was and am a bit pissed off. But on the other hand, I have somehow known it will happen, knowing that person.
So. That project was first initiated by my supervisor. My good and smart friend was his student that time. Having finished our Final Year Project time frame, that project was passed to another friend, who was a Master student that time, but still under the same supervisor.
For one reason and another, he needed to move to another country. And so he did. And he handed over the supervision of that project to another Associate Professor. It was already in a beautiful state when it occurred.
Having added few bits and pieces in the project, the project has become a success and featured in media. But no original initiator and developer names are mentioned AT ALL, even though my friend has reminded him.
It’s like “you take the pain and I’ll take the glory.”
If I say that this conduct lacks integrity, am I too much?
