Some people say that one of the heroic principles in life is to do things at the right time, at the right place and in the right way. Which is true, really.
But for me, I would like to add: to put the breakpoint at the right line.
I did today and was sooooooooo ecstatic about it *noraaaaaaaaaaaaakkkk*
I was supposed to incorporate two modules in a (long and complicated) program that my boss has created. Last Friday, I declared (not my boss but only I) a succesful implementation of the first part (after one week trying to figure out how exactly it is to integrate them nicely). Then I started on the second one. It was integrated, the data flow was OK but the result is FAR from expectation. Haiizz, which means algorithm problem. Which means I have to play again with breakpoint and debugging function. Ugh ugh…
After fiddling with it for quite some time, spent half a day for it today, I still had no clue how it went wrong. Then at one fateful moment *duh…* I finally put the breakpoint at the right line, spotted the right indication, made the right change and yaaayyyy it worked!!!! And you know what, it was just a missing negative sign *duh kuadrat*
Picikalipid picikalipid…
Maaf, saya memang norak. Maklum, I am not an accomplished programmer at all. Not even from a Computer Engineering/Science school. Orang Surabaya bilang BoNek.
